The scale is an indicator of hard water with dissolved calcium and magnesium salts being usually responsible for most scaling in pipes and water heaters and cause numerous problems in laundry, kitchens, and baths.
So after clearance with the client to get the go ahead, we went about descaling the drains and pipework to fix the problem and after some further investigation, jet washing and cleaning, the drains were back to normal flow and the problem was fixed, which really pleased the client, especially how quickly we went into action.
